There is never going to be a time when anyone will need to use that word unless you want to refer to clean water.
Eliminate the word convenient from your vocabulary – this word should rarely if ever be used.

There is no time you will ever need to use the word public. You should remove this word from your vocabulary. unless you will enter politics or if you are asking someone about “public bathrooms”. The word you are thinking of is ‘publish’. They are two entirely different words with two entirely different meanings
